2nd Annual Women in Media Event

Walker Advertising’s 2nd Annual Women in Media event was a rousing success. We celebrated the evening in Día De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) style, complete with face painting, sopes and Mexican beer. It was an evening of networking and fun, bringing together women from Walker Advertising and our media partners.

In keeping with the theme of the evening, Nereida Casarez, Walker’s VP of Media, shared a story about the time she and her family lived in a museum that turned out to be haunted by the spirit of a little boy.

A big thank you to everyone who came out and helped make the evening such a success. Special thanks to Online Media Manager Becky Monraz for organizing the event.

In the coming weeks, attendees should look for LinkedIn invitations to a Women in Media group. Let’s continue the great momentum that we built last night. To all my fellow women in media, we need each other.
