Walker Advertising, a leading and growing legal marketing agency, is seeking an experienced UX designer to create new optimized landing pages that educate and lead our potential consumers through the sales funnel. The role will mostly focus on translating user behavior and research into conversion-driven landing pages and marketing collateral.

The UX designer will play an integral role in the execution of creative campaigns, the digital customer journey, and web design that support our growing company. We’re looking for a visual storyteller with experience in best practices for A/B experimentation, and a track record of influencing human behavior through intentional and thoughtful design.

About the Role

  • Create and/or update artwork and layouts for online projects including: landing pages, websites, banners, emails, infographics, and marketing collateral
  • Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to new functions and features
  • Translate user behavior into wire-frames and mock-ups that lead to intuitive user experiences for B2B and B2C funnels
  • Understanding of online design constraints, including mobile space, web usability, SEO, browser behavior, front-end design limitations, cross-platform compatibility
  • Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate designs
  • Conduct competitor and customer analysis

The Ideal Candidate Has

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Strong communication skills to describe design processes, ideas, and solutions to multiple teams
  • Extensive experience using UX design best practices and has a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design
  • Experience in Direct Response Marketing preferred, though not required
  • Clear research and design ideas and an ability to present these ideas to the rest of the team and upper management

Requirements

  • 3-5 years’ experience. Please provide portfolio or demonstration of skill set
  • Proficiency with Unbounce or another A/B testing platform
  • Proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop and Illustrator)
  • Basic digital analytics knowledge, such as Google Analytics or similar platform
  • Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Experience in the legal industry highly preferred, but not required
  • English/Spanish Bilingual preferred, but not required
